Well my journey began with receipt of a tele-call who explained me benefits of ICICI Bank HPCL Platinum Chip Card. The benefits sound good to me and I told her to call me next day, so, that I can cross check its offering online before getting into any trap! I checked and almost everything was ok except one thing i.e. joining and annual fees. There was a joining and annual fee of Rs.500/-. The annual fee can be reversed, in case spends are more than Rs.50, 000/- in the previous year, but joining fee have to be paid.
